Lesson Plan:

Week 1: Students will review the CHAMPs expectations for the rest of the school year. They will be introduced to Leo Lionni by viewing the video Meet Leo Lionni  from American School Publishers.

Week 2:  Students will listen to the books Matthew's Dream and Mr. McMouse and view the video Swimmy.

Week 3: Students will listen to the books The Biggest House in the World and Fish and Fish and view the video Frederick.

Week 4: Students will listen to the books Inch by Inch and Cornelius, then view Alexander and the Wind Up Mouse.

Week 5: Students will listen to the books It's Mine and A Color of His Own.

Assessment: Students will be assessed visually by the Library Media Specialist as they select books by a variety of authors.
