I Can Statement: I can take care of library books.

Lesson Plan:  

    Students will be introduced to the concept of book care and will review the CHAMPs expectations of behavior in the Library Media Center. Students will listen to Mr. Wriggle's book and the Curious George book, then view How to Take Good Care of Library Books, an online story about book care. Students will look at the books the librarian has placed on the tables until it is time to line up. 

Assessment: Students will be assessed on their knowledge of Library Media Center CHAMPs expectations as they move about the Library Media Center.
